“We come from our mother. We can feel it. Is a film that explores the burden of being an illegal immigrant from Mèxico in the United States and having a family member die on the other side. It is seen through the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead. This unique perspective aspires not only to share cultural values but also to rethink human ones; it does so by contrasting the bardo between life and death and the bardo each illegal immigrant has to cross for a better life.
